Watch List Wednesday - Groundhog Day Edition

#WatchListWed is back! This edition is going to be a bit different from it's predecessors, as I will not be listing movies or TV shows from each of the main streaming services.

Instead, I will be giving you a Top 5 Watch List.

And since it was Groundhog Day yesterday, I will be listing my Top 5 "Time Loop" Movies in honour of the most famous of the genre, Groundhog Day, starring Bill Murray.

Top 5 "Time Loop" Movies

Number 5

Naked (2017)

You can watch this one on Netflix.

It's good for a few laughs, but not much beyond that. That's why it sits at #5 on my list.

Number 4

When We First Met (2018)

You can also catch this one on Netflix.

It has a little more to it than #5 on my list, funny and romantic! A true Rom-Com Time Loop movie, and worth a watch if you're in the mood for a funny feel good film.

Number 3

Edge of Tomorrow (2014)

This one isn't on any of the main 3 streaming sites (at the time that I wrote this) but you can rent it on Cineplex or iTunes.

It's definitely a different vibe than the previous two movies, it's action-packed and requires more attention to follow along. This should make it onto your Must Watch List.

Number 2

Palm Springs (2020)

You'll find this one on Amazon Prime Video.

It's one of the good things that came from 2020. It brings the list back to the Comedy Genre, but is considerably better than the other Comedies on this list. Another Must Watch, just not with the Kids.

Number 1

Source Code (2011)

You will likely have to rent this one on Cineplex or iTunes.

We're back into the Action Genre with my number one Time Loop movie. If you're a fan of mind-twisting action thrillers (like I am) than you should enjoy this movie. It will keep you guessing until the end and even mixes in some laughs and love along the way.

There you have it, my Top 5 "Time Loop" Movies in honour of Groundhog Day. Watch and Enjoy!

Do you think I left any movies out? Got the order wrong? My taste in movies is just awful? Well that's what the comment section is for! Let's hear some alternative recommendations!
